Please join us for the second annual celebration in honor of our mom, Kathryn A. Cullen on her 73rd birthday, with a reading at 7 pm on Saturday, December 5, 2020, in conjunction with the Arts Center of St. Peter, St. Peter, MN. We will also introduce the current recipient of the Kathryn A. Cullen Gas & Groceries Scholarship. Because of the pandemic, the event will take place online; if you have a favorite poem of Kathryn’s that you’d like to share or perhaps one you’ve written yourself, inspired by her, we invite you to read it aloud. Notes From the Alley Zoom Birthday Party and Reading

Notes From the Alley, a posthumous collection of poems by St. Peter-based poet, Kathryn A. Cullen, will be released in an all-day, socially distanced sales event at the Arts Center of Saint Peter on Saturday, December 5, from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Shoppers will have the option of coming into the gallery (masked and observing social distance), or calling 507-931-3630 to arrange contact-free payment curbside pickup. Following the December 5 release, the book will be available for purchase in the Arts Center’s gallery shop during regular hours and online here.

Proceeds go toward the Kathryn A. Cullen Gas & Grocery Scholarship, established in 2019 by Cullen’s family, to support creative writing students at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
